Member News: Bright Side Vets Tamworth opens for business

FIVP member Bright Side Vets has opened its additional site for business.

The new independent practice, located on Mill Lane, Tamworth (B79 7JA), marked the occasion with a grand opening on Saturday, 16 March 2024.

Attending the ribbon-cutting was Sarah Edwards MP and two local charities – Wonky Pet Rescue and Harley’s Hound Animal Rescue.

As part of the event, visitors also had a ‘behind the consult’ tour of the brand new practice. They were able to meet the veterinary team and join in the festivities.

This new site is an expansion for Bright Side Vets, which currently has a practice in Swadlincote. The Tamworth premises will enable them to help more clients with the latest facilities.

The opening is the result of a challenging journey for Jason Freezer and his wife, veterinary surgeon Kelly Freezer, involving lots of hard work and determination.

Their perseverance has now paid off, with the new facilities ready to welcome new patients. A dedicated and skilled crew are excited to provide the best care and support for the animals of Tamworth and beyond.

Jason said: “We couldn’t have reached this point without the support of our incredible community, our friends and colleagues like you.

“Thank you for being a part of our journey – we’re thrilled to have you by our side as we embark on this exciting new chapter.”

Rita Dingwall, FIVP business development manager, said: “This is a fantastic achievement from Jason, Kelly, and their team – and a reminder of what independent practices can achieve.

“Congratulations from FIVP, and we wish you all the best at your new premises!”
