Following the growing success of the FIVP Practice Matters podcast, we are excited to announce a new benefit – exclusively for our members.
Next month we will be launching our bi-monthly webinar series: FIVP Webinars. Each 45-minute talk will feature an exciting guest from the business or veterinary sector sharing their professional expertise and insights, and will be followed by a Q&A session. These thought-provoking and interactive sessions will provide our members with the opportunity to network with major industry figures, as well as gaining some new ideas for developing their practice.
Our first guest will be Kirsty Gwynne, who is a director at Abbeydale Vetlink Veterinary Training (AVVT). Kirsty started working as a veterinary nurse in 1996, before moving into veterinary training to teach courses for nursing small animals, equines and exotic animals. In 2009, Kirsty became a director for AVVT, but continues to work part-time in small animal practice and in a dedicated emergency clinic.
Kirsty’s webinar, ‘The Role of Veterinary Nursing Assistants in Veterinary Practice’, will take place on Tuesday, 10 December 2024 at 7.00pm. Her talk will explore the work that veterinary nursing assistants do and examine the many ways that they can support an independent practice to thrive. This will be a fascinating discussion, which will inspire members to consider their team and how they support VNAs.
