From 5-12 June 2026, the veterinary profession will be marking the first ever National SQP Week.
Ian is joined by CAROLINE JOHNSON, the director of Vetpol, who played a key role in the organisation of this landmark event. Caroline explains why it is time that suitably qualified persons (SQPs) get the recognition they deserve, and discusses the dedicated event toolkit that practices can use and adapt as they wish.
Caroline also discusses Vetpol’s free, online ‘mini-bite’ CPD courses – designed especially for SQPs looking to build their skillset with quick and accessible sessions. Taking place during National SQP Week, one session will advise SQPs on how to help owners tackle fleas, ticks and worms with confidence.
