Ep010 – FIVP Practice Matters: Alison Lambert – The Dog and Bone

PRACTICE MATTERS Federation of Independent Veterinary Practices

No, we’re not analysing canine treats (maybe a thought for another pod) but looking at the significance of the good old telephone in independent practice. Founder of Onswitch ALISON LAMBERT explains why the telephone is still relevant and how practices can use them to improve client experience.

Alison Lambert qualified as a veterinary surgeon in 1989 and then worked in practice for several years. She later pursued a career in the pet food industry, before establishing award-winning company Onswitch in 2001.

Onswitch promotes a customer-centred approach to veterinary care, and provides practices with research, marketing, CPD and business consultancy to better support their clients.

Alison is published widely, regularly speaks at key international veterinary congresses and events, and was given the AVA’s Veterinary Business Thought Leader award in 2019 and the RCVS Impact award in 2021.
