BSAVA have offered FIVP members an exclusive offer of a £300 credit towards the purchase of BSAVA products when registering for the forthcoming Postgraduate Certificate in Small Animal Diagnostic Imaging, which starts in January 2024.
The programme, validated by Nottingham Trent University, is designed to train small animal veterinary surgeons wishing to expand their knowledge of advanced diagnostic imaging. Specialist speakers will cover several topics, including radiography, ultrasonography, echocardiography and neurodiagnostic imaging.
The course is 75% core teaching and 25% elective component, with attendance courses focusing on hands-on practicals and workshops.
The qualification requires that students spend two days in practice observation with a specialist veterinary diagnostic imager during the elective period. Students will also need to be prepared to bring a dog with them to practical sessions.
