Last week, we joined thousands of people at the Excel Centre in East London, for the London Vet Show 2016. From 17-18 November, vets from all over the country visited our stand to find out more about the federation.
We had a very positive reception, with many vets signing up on the spot and many more taking away information and details of the application process. It was fantastic to see so many of those who had received our Find an independent vet mailing and to chat about the federation and the new database.
All of the vets we spoke to at LVS were excited to see a not-for-profit association being formed for independent practices.
The FIVP stand was also popular with new veterinary graduates looking to further their CPD. The graduates we met loved the live demonstration of the online CPD log, VetCommunity.com; searching the areas they were interested in and logging time to their own personalised accounts.
Overall, we received some fantastic feedback and we are looking forward to meeting more members in January 2017.
