The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) is to host a webinar for veterinary professionals, following the release of its proposed remedies last week.
It will take place on Wednesday, 29 October 2025, from 1.00pm to 2.00pm. A recording of the session will be published afterwards.
The webinar will explore the CMA’s proposed remedies package, as it seeks to engage with those working in the profession. There will be particular focus on the changes that would be required of practice owners, managers and veterinary professionals if the remedies go ahead.
Experts from the CMA will be answering questions submitted by the BVA on behalf of its members. There is the opportunity for attendees to submit their own questions for the group.
The CMA will also be discussing what happens next with the investigation, and explaining how veterinary professionals can share their opinions.
Attendees can register here before 11am on Wednesday, 29 October 2025. Questions should be submitted via the registration form by 10am on Monday, 27 October 2025.
